2003 Prom Dress Fashion Show & Contest
- A Benefit for M.A.D.D. -

On Tuesday, June 10th, at 7pm, Haberman Fabrics held it's annual Prom Dress Fashion Show and Contest to encourage creativity and benefit M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). Over twenty contestants modeled their gorgeous creations. Each dress was made with fabric and materials purchased from Haberman Fabrics. It was a proud moment for each of our contestants, who represented 28 metro Detroit communities, from Grand Blanc to Dearborn, Roseville to Bloomfield Hills, Detroit to Canton, Royal Oak and Huntington Woods to St. Clair Shores, Troy and Southfield to Rochester Hills. Following the runway show, the audience voted for the dress they hoped would win, based on originality, creativity, construction and fit. Contestants entered one of two categories: "Dresses Sewn By Non-Professionals", and "Dresses Sewn By Professional Seamstresses". Admission to the Fashion Show and Contest was a $5.00 minimum donation to M.A.D.D., raising almost $1000.00 for M.A.D.D.! A sincere thank you to all our generous voters and prize contributors!
