Dee Atkinson, Ohio author, educator and talented designer of Pattern Studio, her specialty pattern company for hat, glove and handbag patterns, delighted and educated students at Haberman Fabrics on March 4-6, 2005. The three-day event covered hat construction and purse making, with students learning to create and customize their very own handbag or evening purse. A catered lunch was provided during Saturday and Sunday's workshops. Students from all-over eastern Michigan were inspired by Dee's creativity and expertise.
