Oh dear…where to begin? This is an enormous, eclectic collection of unique fine fabrics; like walking into a kaleidoscope… the more you look, the more you find and the more there is to see.

A large portion of our apparel textiles comes to us from the cutting rooms of the best ready-to-wear manufacturers and designers. So you get up-to-the-minute fashion in the fabrics major designers have selected from quality mills from all over the world, often at or below wholesale costs. These fabric treasures are not re-orderable, so when love strikes, don’t wait, or you may never see that perfect fabric again.

SILK: Hundreds of bolts of silks in an extensive range of texture, weight and weave, in solid colors, prints, and jacquards. Sheer silk chiffon, georgette and organza, light weight crepe, 4-ply crepe, charmeuse, noil, suitings, twill, matka and novelty weaves. Tubes of silk cover the wall and overflow tables. What fun!

LINEN: Plain and fancy, from heavy jacket and bottom weight, to mid-weight for dresses and separates, and handkerchief weights for tops. Select solid colors, prints, embroideries and menswear patterned-weaves.

COTTON: Swiss batiste, organdy and voile to English pima shirting and Liberty of London Tana Lawn®, classic or contemporary print top or bottom weight cotton, corduroy, twill, flannel, eyelet, embroidery and piqué, jersey or sweater knit, Guatemalan hand-woven, Kente cloth, denim (plain and fancy) and many woven with Lycra. Stretch terry velour, too.

WOOL: Simply irresistible woolens! Of course, we have a full spectrum in solid colors of classic worsted crepe, flannel and gabardine. But then there is delicious texture in bouclé, tweed, check, plaid and stripe. Mohair and cashmere. Sheer to challis to coating weight. Double-face and double-woven for ideal reversibles. Jersey and double knit for drape and comfort. Sweater knit too.

RAYON: Soft and fluid, solid and printed, challis and interesting textured suiting, for an alternative to wool or cotton. Ethnic print to batik, to versatile Tencel® and sensual knit.

RAINWEAR: Plain or iridescent taffeta weight, slicker and novelty. You'll be dry AND fashionable.

FAUX SUEDE and LEATHER: UltraSuede® in several weights, plain or print. Light weight suede fabric, stretch or not, for separates and dresses. Leather texture or reptile.

FAUX FUR: Natural looking luxury faux fur for coats, jackets and separates. Playful fun fur for kids clothing, costumes and crafts. Faux shearling for suede/fur combination coats.

FLEECE: Sew easy, sew comfy. Many from Malden Mills. Top quality solid color double fleece, some with berber/sherpa texture. Colorful kid prints or sophisticated prints. For terrific active wear, outer wear, accessories and throws.
