010 - HAND SEWING FOR KIDS
Kids (ages 8-11) and teens (ages 12-16) will learn the basics of hand sewing, including: various commonly used stitches, basting, the proper way to sew on a button, and a couple of decorative stitches. All of the techniques that the students will learn, will be incorporated into a needle case they can use for their future sewing projects.

013 - KIDS PONCHO
Kids (ages 8 - 11) will learn basic sewing skills while making an easy, fun poncho - just in time for the cool weather. Learn sewing machine basics and have fun learning about fabrics, embellishments and construction. See supply list for notions and supplies. All additional materials can be purchased at the end of the first class session with guidance from the instructor.

021 - KIDS BOXERS OR PAJAMA PANTS
This class will excite boys and girls (ages 8 - 11) when they learn how to make something that they want to wear. Using McCall's # 3906, kids will create a pair of shorts or pants to wear inside or out! They will learn basic construction techniques, how to read and follow a pattern and how to use a sewing machine.
