502 - BEGINNER PILLOW
Beginning sewers learn the basics while making two beautiful decorative square or rectangular pillows, using bias-cut fabric-covered cording and inserted trims. Class will include learning how to use a rotary cutter, cutting bias and using a zipper foot to cover cording. Many of the techniques learned in this beginning class will apply to future home decorating classes.

509 - CIRCULAR TABLECLOTH FROM DOUBLE WIDTH FABRIC
Double width fabrics make many decorating projects possible, but can be a bit overwhelming to work with. In this class, take advantage of our large tables and learn the tricks of measuring, marking, cutting and finishing a circular tablecloth for most any round table in your home. You will need fabric and all supplies for the first class.

515 - SIMPLE CURTAIN
Beginners learn how to sew as you dress up living room, bedroom, kitchen, or bathroom windows. Make a simple rod-pocket window treatment, lined or unlined, to use alone or over blinds or shades. You leave class with a custom curtain that fits your décor!

602 - ADVANCED BEGINNER PILLOW
Create a beautiful new pillow for your home! Expand your pillow making skills as you learn to insert a zipper, use lip cord and expand your choice of fabrics. The techniques you learn in this class will help with other home dec. classes or projects that you undertake. Pre-requisite: Beginner Pillow or permission of instructor.

Put away the bed sheets under your Christmas tree and replace it with a gorgeous tree skirt. Learn to make your own pattern, sew cording and fringes, but beware...all your friends will want one too!

633 - BASIC ROMAN SHADE
Join this class and construct a working Roman Shade to give your home a new look! The first class will be a demonstration and selection of fabric and notions. In the remaining classes we will complete construction. Maximum finished shade width is 50".

Want to add a handsome accent to benches or window seats, or just need to recover tired cushions? You'll learn all the techniques in this class, plus zipper insertion and perfect stand-up corners. Pre-requisite: # 502 and ability to cover cording or permission of instructor.

708 - ADVANCED DRAPERY
Learn how to make pleated draperies, a classic, ever-popular window treatment. Create a personalized look by changing the style and spacing of the pleats, or choose the more informal tab-top drape. The first class will be a discussion of style, fabric choices, and supplies. In the next three classes you will make a custom window treatment for your home.
