Class Registration Procedure
It is necessary to pre-register for all classes and seminars.

To register securely on our website:

  • Browse our class schedule and special events schedule for workshops, demonstrations, seminars, and kids' classes.
  • Note the number of scissor symbols following each class description. These symbols indicate the level of sewing experience appropriate for that class. Symbol definitions can be found at the top of each class page. You'll want to enjoy learning new concepts and techniques, and not be too far behind or ahead of your classmates.
  • Filled = Sorry, too late. This class has filled and/or started. Please check back for possible newly scheduled class sessions.
  • Click to choose your Class or Classes. If a Class has more than one section (date/time) offered, click to choose the specific section you want. All classes are held in-store.
  • Submit the Secure Form with your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card.
  • Watch your email for verification of your registration and a list of supplies (if any) to bring to the first class session. If the class fills before your registration can be processed, you will be notified and, of course, not charged.
  • Students receive a discount to use for the duration of the class. Supplies are not included in the tuition unless so stated in the class description. If there is no supply list, just bring a pen and paper to the first class session.

To register by phone: Select your class or classes and call Haberman Fabrics (248-541-0010) during store hours: Sunday 12-5; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10-9; Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 10-6.

To register by mail with your check: Complete the registration form for your selected class. Print two copies, one for you and one to send with your check. Please call first to find out if the class has openings at the time of your call. However, it may fill before your check is received. If that happens, we will return your check promptly.

Of course, you may always register in person at the store. Just drop in.

Class registration is on a first come, first serve basis. We'd love to accommodate everyone, but we must limit class size to provide the very best learning experience. So please register early!!! If you wait until the last minute your class may be filled or it may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment. We will try to promptly post "filled" notices for classes that are no longer available.

Tuition Refund Policy

REFUNDS
and/or STORE CREDITS are only available when your class cancellation is made at least 7 full days before the class starts. For example, a cancellation of a Saturday class must be received during business hours, no later than the prior Saturday.

If Haberman Fabrics cancels a class, students will be given their choice of a refund or a substitution of another class.

NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS CAN BE GIVEN ON THE DAY A CLASS HAS BEGUN. No exceptions.

Please mark your calendar with the date your class is scheduled to begin. Haberman Fabrics will not send out additional reminders before your class starts.
