The Sew E-Z Board is made with the same heat resistant materials and double layer quality used in custom table pad construction to assure years of continued use. The top layer is covered in heavy 100% cotton twill with a printed one-inch grid, and padded with a water-resistant lining. The soft black polyester felt-like bottom fabric protects any surface from scratches, abrasions and heat up to 500º F. Each layer provides a pin-through surface.
The Sew E-Z Board is available in two sizes: 21" x 27" (with 18" x 24" grid) and 33" x 51" (with 30"; x 48" grid). Both size boards fold in half and have convenient carrying handles. When opened flat, the board is approximately 1/2" thick.
SEWING - You'll love the large, flat surface for pressing pattern pieces and fabric, and for general pattern layout use, even pinning pleats. You can easily fuse large garment pieces, such as jacket fronts, and work with countless large-size projects including home decorating projects, without constant repositioning. Use the grid to measure up and press hems.
QUILTING & PIECING - Throughout the design process, use the Sew E-Z Board's felt-like bottom surface as a design board against a wall, standing folded, or hanging by its handle. The board provides an over-sized surface for pressing completed blocks as the quilt grows and for assembling, pinning, basting or tying through fabric and batting layers.
NEEDLECRAFT - The Sew E-Z Board's water-resistant lining will tolerate damp items, will dry out thoroughly, and provides a great blocking board for needlepoint, cross-stitch and knitting projects.
