KAI scissors are made in Japan, and the black handled KAI scissors and shears are made of fine stainless steel with vanadum. These scissors are hand polished and balanced allowing for fatigue-free cutting on all types of fabrics. The soft ergonomic handles and hardened stainless steel blades offer a superior cutting action.
These versatile scissors can cut lightweight fabrics including silk without the fabric slipping as well as being able to cute multiple layers of fleece, denim, cotton, and polyblend fabrics.
