SEAM ALLOWANCE: 1/2" or wide enough to hide the selvage edge.
Take your length of fabric (12” x 60”) and fold it in half length-wise (folded to 6” x 60”), right sides facing together, pin together along the cut (60”) edge.
Sew the long open edge of fabric.
OPTIONAL:
If using faux fur: trim seam allowances.
If using a fabric that ravels: serge or zig zag seam.
If using a fabric without a pile (NOT faux fur, velvet or fleece), press seam allowance open.
Turn the tube right side out. Both ends should be open.
Bring the two ends together, and align the seams, make sure it’s flat, and not twisted. Pin together, starting at the seams, right sides together, about half way around the tube.
Starting just before the seam, and going over it, use the machine to stitch as far around the tube end as you can, making sure not to catch the rest of the fabric in the seam.
OPTIONAL:
If using a fabric without a pile (NOT faux fur, velvet or fleece), press seam allowance open.
Slipstitch the remaining opening shut by hand.
Enjoy!
